St. Paul's University Catholic Center

St. Vincent de Paul

"We are a Catholic lay organization in which members join together to grow spiritually by providing person-to-person services to the needy and suffering."

Do you want to grow in your capacity to love and put your faith into action?  Why go it alone?!  We meet every other week throughout the semester to encourage each other in our prayer and service, to share our experiences of service (both in St. Vinnie's activities and through other organizations).

All members of the St. Paul's community are welcome: underclassmen, upperclassmen, grad. students, and other non-student members -- all of the above are currently attending our regular meetings. For more information or to sign up for our monthly email update, contact Tim at svdpstpaulsucc@gmail.com.

Members are currently involved in these service activities:
  • Home Visits: visiting the needy in their homes and providing them with vouchers for donated furniture

  • Serving at the local food pantry: hosting clients in the Society's food pantry on South Park St.

  • Vinnie's Lockers program: assisting with the Vinnie's Lockers program providing the homeless with a place to store their belongings

  • Second Harvest program: helping to harvest asparagus, squash, and potato fields that have been donated to the food pantry
