| Work with CHILDREN |
| Gym Night at Salvation Army -
Are you available for an hour and a half
in the evening? Do you enjoy working with children? If so, bring your
patience with you - we have all kinds of kids in our program - just
waiting to meet you. We are looking for volunteers to provide a positive
role model to youth, develop and implement age-appropriate activities
and effectively communicate those activities to the youth, family’s and
staff. We need at least 5-7 volunteers to commit to either a Tuesday or Thursday every other week. As of now we have 3 volunteers. Because you
will be working directly with children a short training and class will
be necessary and can be done through the Salvation Army.
When: Every other Tuesday or Thursday evening Time: 6:30 pm–8:00 pm Length of commitment necessary: One evening every other week for the semester. |
